Light at the end of the tunnel?
My hair is starting to not fall out,
Running to the bathroom & hospital visits are things I'm starting to not have to worry …
suuupp? i'm obviously sarah. 16 years old, and a sophmore in high school. Not gonna lie, i'm a pretty chill girl. But like the majority of people who are going to read this, have had more downs than ups lately. I'm always down for hanging out with friends, whenever my body can handle it. I've got a 19yr old brother thats pretty cool. I'm incredibly close with my family, love them to death and back.

Love pyschology. Photogrpahy's a huge passion of mine, my portfolios continuously growing., volleyball and art. Actually i'm into pretty much any sport, i've played just about all of them so far in my lifetime. Bubble baths, the Lion King, reiki, coffee ice cream, boating, or playing rockband are all things that tickle my fancy.

Its always good to know that you are not alone. That is why I am here on a daily basis. You might want to check out www.ccfa.org there are lots of GOOD things happening for IBD folks like us. Chat any time,

I'm with you dear!! I have had this disease now for 25 years. In the beginning it wasn't so bad but over the last 8-9 years it has been really rough and outside of having the disease itself, no one can truly sympathize with us unless they have been through it. There are lots of great supportive folks here so feel free to let it out and ask any questions you need answers to. We will help all we can or at least try to direct you to someone who can.
I'm sorry to hear you have joined the IBD "club," but there are worse diseases you could have had--and there are newer treatments & drugs being worked on all the time, so in future years things may not be as bad for you. Meanwhile, there are fellow Crohnies on this site & others; you can vent & ask questions & pick up tips & hints. My best wishes to you!
I was diagnosed with Crohns disease the day before thanksgiving, and have yet to hit remission. I've been sick since august of 2008. They though it was just UC at first, but..lone behold..it's this godforsaken disease.
