I got out my flash drive tonight and started working on my game again. I had no idea how much work I have yet to do! I have to go back and recode all the links because the stupid screenreaders read out every address and that is quite annoying. I found that if I change the links to buttons, the screenreader doesn't do that. Oh well, buttons look better anyway.

I also found that the password fields aren't being read properly, and I still have to write the text mode without graphics. At least the chat still works nicely. I cannot stand sites that have funky javascripts that don't read with screenreaders properly. I can't even go on certain sites because of that. It seems silly to me to put so much javascript when it's not necessary. The only thing I use it for is when I HAVE to use Ajax like in chat for dynamic content. I'm just glad THIS site doesn't overkill the java...I wouldn't even be here if they did.

Well, I guess this journal was nice and boring for the non-techies.

Here's something everyone will understand... MY SISTER IS PREGNANT!!!

I'm happy even though she isn't. It's my middle sis, the one I actually get along with. She will be an excellent mother so long as her husbnad stays supportive. She is a little bit mentally slow, so she will need his help, but she is great with kids. My kids will have cousins and I'm gonna be an aunt!!! My sis is worried about money, but I believe she can get on medicaid at least for the pregnancy. Also, her due date is the same day as my other sister's wedding HAR HAR HAR! I think that is too funny! It sure takes the light off all her bridal glory LOL! She will probably change her wedding date because of this... boo hoo (insert sarcasm). Not that I care anyway.. I'm not going.
