I just saw that your son got the mouth sores... There is a mouthwash called Prevention, i have only found it at walgreens. It is an oncology mouthwash that will prevent the sores.

I am so sorry for your sons Dx., The only thing worse than me going through this is imagining it being one of my children. You are in my prayers for sure. Where are you getting treatments? I see you live in NJ.. I was there last August for a visit. I live in Tx. & go to M.D.Anderson. It is the world leader in cancer. You can look at it online & get a referral from your Dr. if you would like. There is nothing they do not discuss with you, the amount of hope I got from walking in the door is amazing. They will treat you no matter what your financial status, they fly you in and house you during treatments, whatever it takes. Try not to read about survival stats on line, it is different for everyone. I get my info. from people going through this. That;s where the real truth is... I have met a lot of people that were diagnosed in my stage and later that are just fine. I have recently started taking an herb that I did a lot af research on called Ganaderma. It is being used at a cancer center in NY with great response. It is an immune builder and helps with the side effects of the treatments. It is not a cure, but it has been helping. It comes in a tea or coffee form and I found it in capsules. My hat is off to you honey, stay strong !!

Type: High Grade Non-Hodgkin\'sMy son Michael was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma on December 17,2008. He is 13 years old. I don't have anybody to talk to my parents are dead, my husband is unsupportive. I feel so lost. I can't keep track of my bills, we are about to lose our house. But the treatment seems to be working! Sorry about rambling. I really need someone to talk to. Just so you all know this is the first time I have ever written on a message board, in case I didn't do something right

- seems to be working, lost his hair, got REALLY sick last cycle but not sure which meds did it also mouth sores
