Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

My name is Wanda and I was diagnosed in 1996 with RRMS. I am currently taking copaxone but, I have been on Avonex, Betaseron, Rebif, Tysabri, and Novantrone. Some of them more than once with some symptoms steadily becoming worse. My Neurologist is considering starting me on MTX-Methotrexate another chemo drug. I am widowed with one daughter and a dog named Sasha. I started methotrexate 4 months ago and I started to develop a toxicity toward the meds.

worked for a while side effects-flu like symptoms

Betaseron Working / Worked

worked for a while side effects-flu like symptoms

Copaxone Working / Worked

worked for a while No side effects

Novantrone Working / Worked

worked great but I had to stop due to heart function test Muga scan side effect-mild hair shedding

Prednisone Working / Worked

Great but ruined my bones. I developed Necrosis of the hip joints.

Rebif Working / Worked

worked for a while but I had to change meds. Side effects flu like symptoms

Solumedrol Working / Worked

works wonderful but bad for my bones. I developed Necrosis in my hip joints

Tysabri Working / Worked

wonderful for me but not for the people who died. No side effects.
