Close Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
In short: I had a beautiful baby boy 12/31/06. The doctors told me through my preguancy and after Ethan was born...he was perfect. He was diagnoised for SMA at 3 months old. Knowing NOTHING about the disease. My Ethan passed 6/4/07. He is so precious. I miss him so much.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- After Ethan passed I went through a grief/depression. I could not function normally and I wanted to go to Heaven with my boy.

Type: Loss of a ChildI have 2 sons, one is 24 yrs and one that was born 12/31/06 and passed on 06/04/07. Ethan was a suprise pregnancy. During my pregnancy the doctors said he was perfect. Even after he was born. He is my little angel. He was very alert from the day he was born. Ethan smiled alot even through his disease. At 3 months old he was eating less. On the 3rd visit, she called an ambulance. He was diagnosed of SMA type 1. He passed from the disease. I love him more than life itself. I miss him.

- I believe in having a close relationship with the Lord. I am even closer to him after losing my son.

- Hurts sometimes, but I feel it is working.

- Only vent to the ones I trust with my feelings.
