I recommend manic: a memoir by terri cheney. She too has bipolar disorder. My caseworker is reading that book and she said it's very insightful look into the disease and that it showed her some things that she didn't know. I have never read it but want to buy it because my caseworker liked it. Hope you find all the help you need on the boards. BTW Welcome To DS! Close Bipolar Disorder
My daughter (24) was just diagnosed bp 2 - the last 5 years have been really hard - but I want to learn how to support her - we live in different states - and because of the bp our relationship is difficult - but for the first time in a long time I am hopeful - I hope this is the place to get advice and information - hugs sound good too!
