I take it in gel tablet form...I don´t take it everyday..but maybe 3 to 4 times a week. Mostly because it is expensive..so I try to save it a bit. My friend..who lives in the US..and was the one who sent me this bottle fof Aloe Vera, also has IBS/D..and she swears by it. She also takes and sent me a bottle of Fenugreek..also gel tabl. She says the 2 together do the trick. Good luck!
So how are your plans coming along for your trip?? Aloe vera seems to be something that is VERY good for us IBS people. It costs alot..but it may just be worth it..especially before and during your trip.
hey!!things r ok!!i kinda freaked out today in the car got really panicky and breathless i was hungover think that brought it on!!anyway felt like signing myself in!!hahahah!!how r u?
Hi! I live in Sweden..born in the Czech Rep. and raised in the US. If you are traveling to Europe..you aren´t traveling to the ends of the earth..don´t worry! You will find that most European countries have gluten free foods on their menu..or if you ask..you will get help and suggestions. In the stores, you will also find "special" foods for your needs. You may need help with translation..depending on where you travel. Many places have all information about food stuffs in english, french, german and the native language of the country you are in. I find that I try to order food in restaurants that have some of the stuff that I can eat..like rice or potatoes..spagetti..noodles..and then when I get what I have ordered..I eat what I think will work for me. I usually take some basic food with me from my own place that I know my tummy likes and feels good on..like Rice Diet, from Sweden..it´s powder and just mix it with warm water. It´s gluten free, by the way. Then I know that if I need to be extra careful..I have this with me..until I preferrably find something similar in the country that I am visiting. I don´t know if this helps at all..but Good Luck and lots of hugs! If you have any thoughts or questions..just write to me!!! PS..they know about IBS in Europe. I have been diagnosed here in Sweden.

I'm 33, live in Toronto, Canada and work with children who have special needs. I've had IBS for a few years now and find that diet restrictions help a lot. My biggest issue is the anxiety and worry that goes along with IBS. Specifically I'd like to travel and it's holding me back. Would love to chat with those who understand.
I've had asthma my entire life, ever since I was born.
Started developing food allergies/intolerances a few years ago in College. Started with corn and then every few months or so, it seems I developed another one. I avoid yeast, shellfish, apples and bananas.
