  Hi, I read your post and I totally agree with you! EVERYTHING says that the disease typically effects people over 50. While I am still waiting for a diagnosis, I am pretty sure that this is what my episode was (vs. cancer). I am 43 so it does happen to people under 50. And I have a friend who has had this since her 20's or 30's.
