      Hi, I read your post and I totally agree with you! EVERYTHING says that the disease typically effects people over 50. While I am still waiting for a diagnosis, I am pretty sure that this is what my episode was (vs. cancer). I am 43 so it does happen to people under 50. And I have a friend who has had this since her 20's or 30's.

      A few years ago I was diagnosed with diverticulosis, I am now 37 and I have diverticulitis. It kinda annoys me that whenever I read about this disease it says it hits age 50 or up. I know that isn't true. My brother and sister also have it and are under 50

      Treatments

      Levaquin Working / Worked
      still on it for 7 more days,side effects are loud stomach with diarreah and I think insomnia, I been having a real hard time falling asleep.
