i am a single mum of 3 and i am close 2 my mum i love art and crafts as dont get out much i have fybromialga and some type of arthritus not fully diagnosed. i am quite a shy person and was told this was a nice site i hope to meet friendly like minded people who understand and dont think u moaning at times.

Thanks for telling me~~ I will tell my son... he wrote that at the same time I was thinking about my dad- he didnt know, and said "hey mom can I read you something?" It was his poem and it made me cry too because it was EXACTLY... what I was feeling and thinking about - he will be very pleased that you liked it and that it moved you.

Close Fibromyalgia
I am 32 and have been suffering since an early age but as got worse i had test on test and that carries on for 11years then july 2007 they said the words fybromialga and now it trying diff meds and managing diff in the house children and life as not as easy as was i hope to know understand and get to feel better about this as its pos arthritus is a facter also just not fully diagnosed.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Not Working
- i had it in a pool were we had to try exerecise it affeced my ears as i am partly deaf also and half hour after my legs and elbos were worse so not good for me
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- i went on this at the start was bit sleepy and on high dose worked for a while to take the edge off but as couldnt go any higher they changed medication
Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a Parentits been 1year 7 1/2 months since my dad suddenly died a heart anurisum and he never got to hear his only grandson talk and 1st birthday. he was an unbeiliveable dad we spent lots of time together he was a love spoon carver world renouned and he was the only man i trust i miss him so so much
Treatments
- Crying Somewhat Helpful
- i cry loads and am doing now it does help but sometimes think this is how its always going to be
- Getting Angry Not Working
- i ended up punching a stone wall it hurt and it gives me a headache
- Helping Others Too Soon to Tell
- i do an hour or so at the cat centre which means i am distracted and helping also i love cats
- Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
- it helps up to the point that i am unable to carry on as the fybromialga causes so much trouble
- Music Somewhat Helpful
- lots of music i love and loads my dad loved and reminds me so some times i am in tears
- Pets Somewhat Helpful
- my cats and dog are great at sensing that i need a lap sat on and they never answer back
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- i do talk to a friend and samaritains aqnd sometimes either of my 2 uncles side effect i always cry
- Time Too Soon to Tell
- everyone says it will get easyer as yet i am not convinced

- just started today so have to wait and see i am looking for what else i can do. 135mg 3 times a day
- Dihydrocodeine Somewhat Helpful
- been taking this a while for my fibro and now been told it may help with my stomach pain 30500 and can make me costapated but isnt constant
