Close Leukodystrophies
Both my sons have PMD Leukodystrophy since I am the carrier. Always hopeful and grateful that they are happy and healthy. My oldest son is 11 yrs old. My youngest is 19 months rite now. My oldest has done pretty good. He loves to swim and ride horses. My youngest will hopeful love to be active too.
Treatments
- Carnitine Somewhat Helpful
- Not really sure if it helps. My oldest also has Mitochondria's disease. That is what this is for. No side effects
- CoEnzyme Q Somewhat Helpful
- Same thing. don't know if it works but since it is only a co-enzyme it can't hurt. No side affects
- Fish Oil Somewhat Helpful
- Same. This is supposed to help with brain function. No side effects
