I chose to make sure I was READY before getting married; I waited until I was 34. I then waited another 4 before having my first child. First son was born with a heart defect. Because of complications, he has severe CP and will always be dependent on me (yes, forever). Bottom line - husband blames everything on our son's disability ... to make matters worse, he decided to cheat on me about a year ago with a woman he still works with.

- After 8 weeks of counseling, he walked out. Told me if I wanted to do it all alone . . . to go ahead and do it.

- I have a hard time letting it go since there are still missed calls on his cell.

- Diagnosed one month with cervical cancer due to HPV ... biopsied and removed within the next two months ... no radiation or chemo necessary. Was detected early on due to yearly exams.
