I have painted all day ! I even had to get new brushes and then I got this great idea ! Why don't I paint my Christmas gifts ? I have this new ability - I should use it !! I still have not finished my painting !! I cannot believe I did not finish it, but I will. I figure all of the time I have invested, plus everyone wants to see it = finishing it. So, hopefully it will be soon, and I can post it.

I think that is a wonderful gift! My kids boys are both grown and married, I haven't a clue what to get them. In the past, for mother's day and birthdays, I have always asked for a day with them......with the one in the next state, that is impossible. My daughter in law, just asked if we could have a low key gift Christmas and I suggested we make things for each other......good thinking.

Great idea Sugar. Painting gifts for Christmas will not only be using your God given talent but gifts of love. I wish I could paint but the only talent I have in painting is painting fences, doors, barns, etc. (the real thing). LOL

Do you think Michaelangelo was finished when he did the Sisteen Chapel? I bet he didn't even clean his own brushes or clean up the spatters on the floor.
