Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
In June 2008 I starting getting chronic stomach upset and pain, Finally one day it was too much, I went to see my gp and she immediately turned around and sent me to the er thinking that I had appendicitis. I went to the er and from there was admitted for 7 days. Test after Test after ct after colonoscopy I was released with no diagnosis. Finally in july I was diagnosed with Chrons. And as many of you I am sure are very familiar it has been a roller coaster since then.
Treatments
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I HATE STEROIDS!!!!!!!! I am a crazy fat person now.. Every side effect possible has hit me.. I was lowered to 30mg today.... I get to go down 10mg every 2 weeks until I am done...
- Humira Working / Worked
- I recived my second injection today. I am know having 1 shot every 2 weeks. Apparently the results that my doc has seen are really good in his own personal studies he has seen a 80 remmission rate. So I am deffinatly keeping my fingers crossed!
