I was diagnosed with Grave's in June of '08. It's all still new and strange and depressing. I had radiation to kill my thyroid gland and my doctor has since been trying to regulate my t3 and t4 with synthroid and cytomel. I've gained about thirty pounds and have lost a lot of my hair, which I consider the worst side-effect. I live in South Dakota with my incredibly supportive husband and our twenty pound cat, who even on my worst days, always makes me feel better.
