I do feel your pain. It can seem like you are being punished. I know I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. As for family, unfortunatley you can't choose your relatives. The fact that you have stepped up to take care of someone who mistreated you says alot about you. And I believe that will not go unnoticed by God. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.
