Close Hepatitis B

Didn't think it could happen to me, as I took the Hep B vaccine regimen....3 shots over a series of months. Found out later (too late) that the vaccine doesn't work for all and that booster shots may be needed (again...gound out too late). Was diagnosed 2 years ago after some really stupid behavior. (Don't we all have some regrets?) Anyway, went on a clinical trial but the virus mutated...am now on Viread and am undetectable. Let's talk sometime.

I knew I was gay at an early age. Came out when I was 21. Have been partnered for 23+ years. My partner developed prostate cancer and is impotent and our sex life is over (he never had the drive that I had and I he's glad that part is over.) I've learned that getting older isn't the worse thing that can happen. I'm 53 and would like to talk to others in my situation.
