I am an ex Royal Navy that got medically discharged with an cronic arthritic knee. I have ha three knee replacements and now suffer from cronic nerve pain they have tried lots of different tablets and systems to no avail. I see my surgeon tomorrow to arrange A/K amputee. I would love to contact simmular people with simmular condition to see how they coped and how long their recovery was.
Treatments
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Not Working
- I had SCS fitted which took two attemps to do stage one then stage two was done the week before Christmas when there was no one to set it up properly so I had to wait until Jan 12th which they adjusted it to no avail I went back again and it still did target my main pain and it even made it worse after using the device so have oppted for a AK amputation which I would have taken 12 months ago but the hospital had to try all means first!!!!
