My new appointment is now 1/29 at 11:30. The was no talk of Nuelasta injections. Was kind of looking forward to the in a warped way.

Dx'd in 1993. I have 2 sons, 11 and 9. I'm lucky that they understand that I can't run around with them, but I do what I can. Currently using Rebif after 6 years of Betaseron, 4 years of Copaxone. and now 3 years of Rebif. Was dx'd one year after getting married. She was in denial for nearly 9 years and that did it in. I have found a lady who knows my condition and limitations. Dx'd with Hemochromatosis in 2006. I'm originally from Jackson, NJ. Still a Piney at heart. Look forward to hearing from other folks in the same boat.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Seconday Progressive MSDiagnosed 10/93. My first symptoms were in 2/93 when my right leg became numb and weak. 7/03 I had optic neuritis. I was diagnosed that October. Started on Betaseron in 1994. Copaxone in 2000 then Rebif in 2005. I am on disability because of fatigue and cognitive problems.

- Ambien Working / Worked
- Works like a DREAM!! ha
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- Betaseron Working / Worked
- Lost it's effectinvess after6 years.
- Celexa Working / Worked
- Need a generic alternative to Lexapro.
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- Lost it's effectiveness after 4 years.
- Exelon Not Working
- No noticeable difference noted.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- Worked well made me sweat an awful lot.
- Prednisone Not Working
- Prednisone gives me very bad mood swings. Always went cold turkey after the Solumedrol.
- Rebif Working / Worked
- After 4 years, it seems to be holding it's own.
- Solumedrol Somewhat Helpful
- Worked. Gave me pains behind my knees and a lot of energy. Have had that about 10 times.
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- Started to become more depressed after a while.
- Novantrone Too Soon to Tell
- After 3 treatments I see no benefit. Actually feel worse.
Close Hemochromatosis
Diagnosed 9/06. Had ferritin checked after having discomfort in the right upper quadrant. After 6-7 phlebotomies my ferritin went from 660 to 25. Went as low as 15 but is inching up again.
