Hi Linda, I commented on your discussion post before I realized you had commented on my journal:) I pray that we both get good news! How is your CA 125? Waiting is so difficult and I think even the anxiety itself is enough to make one feel sick! Keep me posted, many hugs, Janet

Once you shave your head, you will discover how much easier it is. My mother cried when it was done, but she never felt sad or sorry later. It has been so much easier! Blessings to you!

Hi there! I just wanted to mention that I did first cut, then shave my hair off. It was easier for me than finding the clumps on my pillow. We all have different feelings about things, and I have to say...for me, the hair/no hair was the least of my worries at the time. I am thinking of you and hoping for some good moments. hugs, lindamae

Dear Linda I had the same side effects, as you, regarding the itching scalp and loose strands of hair. However, I refused to shave my almost waist length hair. The entire process took 3 months for me to lose it, but I became very fond of the hair that was remaining and kept covering it with scarves, etc. It didn`t start growing back until I was taken off the platimnum drugs and is now only an inch long. So I have a variety of wigs, hats, etc. that I use. I`ve had many friends shave their heads, but later told me that they wished they`d hung on to their hair as long as possible. I have no idea how long it will take for me to ever have long hair again! Hope we can become friends... xxLinda
