About Me
I was diagnosed with lupus anticoagulant 2 years ago. Housewife. I have been married 33 yrs and in 1999, my depression and ocd got worse and fibromyalgia, so I had to quit, now Iam on disability and it seems now high blood pressure and everything you could name has been thru me. I love people and to teach fitness which I did 21 yrs and worked at a credit union and ran races and marathons too. Very busy huh? Well it came to a stop now, im lost and the house seems to get smaller. I tried to walk but ended up brusing my ankles. Sounds like a medical book , right? lol. hey I have to laugh sometimes cause the good days are few. But Iam thankful for them. Iam thankful for this site and the people on it. It helps to know, that im not alone, believe me if I could I would take everyones pain away, but oh well, just one day at a time is all we have.

Close Chronic Pain
Hi , I think I have always had chronic pain since I was a child, I lived in a abusive home, so I would hide and my muscles would stay tense, no where to go no one to talk to . Now its worse everyday, Im on Loratabs for fibromyalgia, but sometimes that dont even work. Iam 50 yrs old now and still no relief. Time has taken its toll on me. But i continue to get up every morning. It took a long time to accept what I have, but still hard to go through.

I was diagnosed when I was in my 20s, it had taken a long time to find someone to tell me why, so i have tried everything. Iam 50 yrs old now and still trying to understand and let go , cause stress plays a big part.

Open Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
diagnosed 2 yrs ago, one day my foot swelled, I thought it was edema, then it started getting worse so I thought I sprained it. o I went to emergency room and they told me I had a clot, I even got clots on coumidin, so now I have to use lovenox shots.
