About Me
I am a Nursery Nurse/Learning support Assistant at a local primary school. I have 3 sons, 2 of them teenagers. I enjoy crafting, playing the piano, baking and am learning to play the tin whistle. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease 5 years ago, which has been a bit of a dietary problem as I have been vegetarian since 1982, as well.

- Calcium Not Working
- Five years ago I was diagnosed with coeliac Disease. I was put on a gluten-free diet and calcium supplements. I had a dexa scan at the time that showed I had osteopenia (not uncommon for a woman of my age) so I thought everything was ok. I had another dexa scan in October 08 that revealed that I am now borderline osteoporosis. I want the GP to put me on Alendronic acid, so am waiting for my blood vit D results. I feel quite worried that I have been overlooked in my treatment.....
