In the past 3 weeks I have been to 10 doctors appointments plus I have one tnight, one tomorrow and one on Tuesday.
I have way to many docorts as it is. I have a cardiologist, a pulmologist, endocrinologist, gastroinestrnolgist, primary, family docotr, dentits, therapist, pschyitrist, urologist, , colon surgeon ohh and a liver specialist. Plus I have to find a dermatologist, an eye doctor, and a gyno. Well this moring I went and saw my g.i. doc. things went ok. I had a ct scan done last week to follow up on a lymph node that is on my liver to make sure is itnt growning... it isnt woo hoo. I also had blood work done last monday to check my liver enzymes. those where up. So the doc deciede to up my bile salt med (urso) from 500mg daily to 1000mg daily. I will have to go back in 4 weeks and see what the levels are like then. if they are high again then he said he is going to do an mrcp. its kinda like a combo croos between an ercp and an mri. After tutoring tonight at the boys and girls club. * I am going to see my psychistrist. he is either going to up my bipolar medcation or add another medcation. Bedauce of all my medical problems the doctor told me he is going to slowly introduce the new medications and doasges into my body.
Tomorrow I am heading back to see my pcp for follow up. I am going to have to talk to about the swelling going on in my joints. Imdont know if its the medications im on or what but within the last week I have been having such problems with my hands whereas my fingers will swell so bad I can not ever make a fish and it hurts so bad. then there are my legs.... The swelling is primaryly in my ankles and knees. If I am laying or sitting for longer that a half hour when I go to get up I can hardly stand let alnone walk... I am so slow because it hurts soo my. I told all this to my g.i. doc this moring and he told me he thinks its autoimmune related to all my problems but he didnt do anything about. :( :( :(
*side note- I tutor a 7th grade girl Allison, and a 4th gade boy Marcus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 at the boys and Girls Club ( it is all volunteering).

Wow! That's about all I can say regarding the number of doctors you have to see. I'm sorry you have to go through so much. : ( Good luck at the pdoc tonight and the PCP tomorrow. (By the way, the volunteering sounds awesome!)
