I smoke too. For 26 years now. I recently cut back to try and quit eventually. Some days I do really well and others I just say forget it and smoke-like you say "like a chimney" It is a very hard habit to break. What I have been doing is writing down when I have one. Then if I think about lighting up, I look and see how long it's been. I started with every half hour, then went to every 45 min. Now I'm aiming for an hour. That way too I am not just lighting up "nonsense" cigarettes that just burn away. I really want one by that time. But I am going to keep stretching out my time limits and eventually quit. It is sooo not easy, but I do notice that my lungs feel better now! So that's a reward in itself! I read after quitting, within 2-4 days your sense of taste improves again! Lots of good things happen. Just keep trying one day at a time. You can do it!! If you are trying cold turkey, they say the craving only lasts 3 minutes. If you can do something else for 3 minutes to get your mind off it, then you're good to go! Until the next one...... :) Cheryl
