      I can get from super happy/super crazy to scary suicidal depression, all within the span of minutes to hours each and every day.

      Treatments

      Abilify Not Working
      Caused me terrible side effects, involuntary muscle movements in my jaw
      Tegretol Working / Worked
      i took it for seizures when i was in high school
      Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
      it took away the depression, but made me manic nearly 24/7, i used to take off my clothes climb buildings trees, engage in risky behavior and stepped up my sex drive. i want to be balanced, not seen as a maniac
      Music Working / Worked
      helps elevate my mood it just makes me feel better all around
      Psychotherapy Working / Worked
      it works, way better than most pills could do

    • Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis

      i was diagnosed December 2007, the medicines only helped so-so, changing my diet is helping, but i still have to run to the bathroom alot.

      Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
      i like coffee but it makes my symptoms worse, so i only have it once in awhile, caffine helps my bipolar, but it makes my UC worse.
      Azathioprine Somewhat Helpful
      it helped, but my bones started to hurt, so i stopped taking it
