well I've recently found out I have HPV and HSV type 1....one more inconvenient then the other....take valtrex daily, as well as vitamins and still seeking other treatments for the HPV. I'm eager to get back to normal. Just started seeing some one, but am not in the place to have that conversation yet. Just taking one day at a time. I've come to terms with the cards I've been dealt and don't really feel like it's a huge deal...that right person for me will understand and as long as I take care of myself, it won't effect them...so we'll see how it goes

Well I had my first herpes outbreak over a week ago, that sucked....but they did a culture and it was negative for HSV 2...so that's good right? I mean, no herpes is good herpes, but HSV 2 is more frequent then type 1....the longer I have to deal with this the better I feel about it...not that its fun to have either way, but getting it under control definately gives you peace of mind

What is HSV?

The Herpes Simplex Virus...type 1 is oral and type 2 is genital but you can get either in either place. I have type 1 genitally
