Type: Genital Warts (HPV)A few months ago I noticed I had some pimple like bumps, didn't think anything of it. Finally when I noticed they weren't going away I decided to go get checked for everything. I was misdiagnosed twice only to find out I had chlamydia. I treated that, but what I was told was BV turned out to be HPV....I had previously tested positive for HSV 1 which I thought was just cold sores even though I'd never had one. In the midst of treating the HPV I had a HSV outbreak...so now I know I have both
Treatments
- Acid treatments Working / Worked
- I had it done twice, the first time it worked a little but not completely. The second time it worked wonders
- Aldara Somewhat Helpful
- It didn't seem to be working but I think it did more then I thought, but I think it made me have a herpes outbreak...so I would say it's pretty good. Kind of made my skin a little dry, that's it
- Valtrex Working / Worked
- it works great but is expensive and makes my vision blurry

I have 2 strands of HPV
Treatments
- Colposcopy Working / Worked
- they said I was low and they were going to keep an eye on it
- Liquid Nitrogen Working / Worked
- it burned slightly. I've had it done three times, the first time worked, the second time I had to go in for a third to really remove them but that's the fastst way to get rid of them
- Aldara Not Working
- I dont think it did anything...it just burned my skin otherwise I think the warts stayed the same size
