Close Alcoholism
After over 20 years of being the center of the universe, I have stepped down as King. I am developing a relationship with G-d and ask for daily forgiveness for my transgressions. I have found some great people to help me further my recovery and through the normal pains of life, today things are good.
Treatments
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- AA in general is not really for me. It helped me hook up with a group of people who have shown me that by asking G-d for help and stepping down from the thrown, things work out for the better. Honesty and a desire to help others and put myself off the list of who comes first has helped me to be a better person, by the grace of G-d.
- Cold Turkey Not Working
- Stopping did not fix the fundamental problem of my selfishness.
- Naltrexone Somewhat Helpful
- Means to an end.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable —if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.
