Close Dizziness & Vertigo
diagnosed with Vertigo many years ago, and only suffered about three episodes. Two weeks ago it started again. It has been non stop, dizziness, imbalance and vomiting. I have had two good days out of the last two and a half weeks. Was taken to the ER because we thought I was having a stroke. Dr. in the ER perscribed Ativan, my own Dr. flushed them and told me to take Gravol. It helps a bit, but makes me sleepy. I have an appt. with an ENT in March, but the last two days have been awful.
Treatments
- Betahistine Somewhat Helpful
- Was using this for years, but found it was changing my personality. Dr. took me off and found immediately that my moods changed for the better.
- Dramamine Somewhat Helpful
- Works to a point. But really want something done permanently. I don't want to suffer with this any longer.
