      I am a mother of a 24 year daughter, 20 year old son. I was laid off as a computer programmer 3 years ago. I now stay home and babysit my 16 month old grandson when needed. I am a believer in the Lord Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

      I realized when I was in my 20's I had a problem with certain foods and if I didn't eat them I didn't overeat. As I got older I went to OA and found some freedom for a couple of years at a time. Had a situation where I felt manipulated in a relationship and been eating for the last 5 years. I have not been feeling very well and have been very irritible. I can't do this alone, I never could. When I get support it is amazing to know there is someone to just talk too.

      Treatments

      Overeaters Anonymous (OA) Considering
      It worked while I went. I live in a rural area so I have to drive an hour to get to a meeting. That is a disadvantage.
