Close Myasthenia Gravis

I was diagnosed with MG in 1999. I was 29 yrs old. I was misdiagnosed for 7 years. I had thymectomy in 2000. It did not work. I crashed during plasmapheresis and ivig gave me blood clots in my lungs and legs. I am tired of this disease. I feel worse today than I did 7yrs ago.

Treatments

Azathioprine Working / Worked

It does not seem to work.

IVIG Working / Worked

I got blood clots as a side effect.

Mestinon Working / Worked

This is the only thing that gives me any relief. It causes my to have diarhea and reflux.

Thymectomy Working / Worked

It did not work. I have an ugly scar down my chest for it.
