Yesterday went well. I feel pretty good. I know that I can keep all the side effects down. I was told that if my CA 125 does not go down to a level that the doctor likes (which is only 26) that he will change my last treatment to weekly. I was hoping to be done by my 39th birthday so I can have a survior celebration, but it will have to wait. Everything is going really will towards my cancer treatment.

Great news that youa re doing so well.. i ahd my first dose of doxil on Wednesday and am managing to keep the side effect down to a minimum so far without resorting to lots of steroids.. I was told that if the doxil doesn't work for me that I will be put on a weekly dose of carboplatin.. I think this is a new approach.. but hope that neiter of us need any more of this at least for a few years to come..

I hope that you only have one type of chemo, but I too have carboplatin. It does not seem to be to bad on that one. I think the worst one is Taxol. I wish you the best.

I can not beleive how good I feel today. I just spent 1 1/2 days in bed and feeling so much better. I did not have to take any medication, just needed to sleep.
