About Me
I am a 35 year old mother and writer living with MS having dreams of going to Graduate school.... I was diagnosed at the age of 28. I had it for 10 to 15 years prior to them finally diagnosing me. I had two relapses with paralysis before and one after. Its been a long struggling and twisting road but I walk and usually people wonder why I am on disability. My major symptoms from MS lie hidden to the naked eye within my body with crazy damaged nerves. I have begun to show the affects of the spasming nerves with spasticity and weakness but like paralysis I am fighting to regain as much as I can of movement. I have always said, "MS can have my body but not my mind. If it chooses to go after my body it will have a hell of a fight from me."

I just wanted you to know how much you have encouraged me. I am now almost 3 months post-partum and no sign of a relapse yet. By now I was in the midst of it after my other two kids. For me, I had a hard time imagining it was possible. You helped me believe that it was....and it still is! You are like an angel!
