what is it about our clothes? if i leave an article anywhere mine is going to sleep on it.

I have throw blankets all over the place for him to snuggle on and he prefers the hamper. He's passed out on an old fleece jacket of mine right now. I had to surrender it to the cats because every time I had it on they wouldn't leave me alone.
