My lungs are so pissed off this morning after the 6 mile walk. The group I found to train with was on some damn big hills and I thought I'd be sick by the time I reached the top. I've never had that feeling before...it was terrible. Our walk leader said that my lungs and legs will eventually both strengthen and I should be fine by the time the big walk rolls around. Ugh. Glad that I'm getting hills in now though. It shouldn't hurt me as bad come September when we do them and walk 20 miles each day for 3 days!
The endorphines are still pumping, so I feel pretty good right now. I really want to go do an easy walk to finish cooling down and stretching out my legs, but not sure if my feet can handle it. I should walk my neighbor's dog for her though since I promised ![]()
Broke out the knee brace today and will be using some mole skin on the new blisters this time. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting me as I strive towards my goal! I'll be walking in a half marathon this summer to prep for the 3day! I can't wait!
