Getting through family events Mood
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 | A General Update story

We took the grandkids to the pumpkin patch like we do every year. It was nice but not the same. You could tell on everyones face that something big was missing. My husband loved to take the grandkids to the pumpkin patch and it was differnt without him. He was there with us but we looked lost. It just did not feel the same. We got through it with a lot of remanasing about him and laughing. This was his favorite time of the year, so I will put on my best halloween face and take the kids out trick or treating for him.....

Family events are the hardest to get through. We always miss our spouses since they made the events special. I don't know what I will do for halloween because life without him seem less enjoyable. Thanksgiving was his farvorite time and I am having a hard time just think about it and how I will make it through. God bless you and lots of hugs Linda
