About Me
I was a munitions maintenance specialist serviving time in the United States Air Force from Feb, 1973 till May, 1978 then got out with a honorable discharge. Then I repaired motorcycles for 20 years till my drinking wrecked my liver. Waitting for a transplant now because i'm sick. My fault though so it's my problem.

Interests
internet surfing, reading, living, getting a liver transplant, getting into a good steady relationship with a woman, teaching kids about the danger and effects of alcohol and drugs and how lucky i am just to be alive today, taking a world cruise on a ship.

Close Alcoholism
I drank for 34 years, mostly beer and tore up my liver. I have cirrhosis and i'm currently work the necessary steps to try and get on a transplant list.
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- The cirrhosis didn't tell me to stop, oh no. It was 3 years ago when I got drunk and mad at my daughter for not coming to get me so I findally got my sence together that I had a drinking problem and that i was an alcoholic. I crushed my right hip that night and AA got me to quit and now i've been sober for almost three years now and will never drink again because i don't want to die.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- no side effects, i love meetings. The meeting remind me that i must go at this sober life one day at a time. I'm blessed by the GOD of my understanding.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- I take these meds everyday because the doctor tells me too.
- Trazodone Working / Worked
- I need it to calm down at the end of the day and sleep.
- Willpower Working / Worked
- As i already mentioned I don't want to die and if i ever put any alcohol in my body i'm a dead man so I love the program of AA
Close Breakups & Divorce
I was married with two kids for 18 happy years so I thought till my wife left me and took the kids. I know now that I was a HARD working alcoholic. Ended up getting a divorce. That's not why I'm here really because I don't know where to go. Ihave been in AA and that got me sober but I just seem to get a jump start on this different life. I pray about it but can't seem to get any answers.

- AA has kept me sober now for over 2 years. My sobriety date is july 14th. I drank for 34 years straight and now my livers shot and needs transplanted. I could die but I have to try that route.
