About Me
i am 27 years old. i am the catering director for local private country club; in theory, i would love my job, but it's impossible when you work with incompetent morons. i am in a committed relationship of 4 years with a funny & unique guy, who is a photographer. we are talking about marriage... eventually :) i am the proud mama of my 3 pit bull babies(Doobie-girl, Solo (aka Moose) and Mr. Magoo), and two kitties(Geisha, & Rasta). i am dealing with loss of my first pregnancy. i've had the secret desire for a baby for so long now, it seems.. couldn't believe i was actually pregnant. we weren't trying, but apparently we weren't preventing! my heart is broken, but hopefully in time i will be able to realize my dream of having a little piece of me and ben to raise into a beautiful, caring, responsible and honest person..

Thank you. How are you doing? Congrats on your Little lady. DH and I want a girl so bad. Not that a boy would be bad but we both want a little girl. Hope you continue to have a happy healthy prgnancy. You are getting there. Before you know it she will be in your arms. How wonderful!!! XO :)

That is so exciting! It wasnt a big deal when I found out, there was no gender scan, just a oh, it's a boy at 11 weeks and then confirmed at 13. I can't wait to hear... all is good here. Aiden is great! Just lying here. He fell asleep in the Baby Bjorn but I see that he is awake again. Never sleeps when he is with me... sleeps all day at DayCare... go figure!

Close Miscarriage
went for first u/s at the 10 week mark, ultrasound tech found a fetus that was only measuring 6 weeks and no heartbeat. had a d&c a week later, and i have been working hard on keeping sane.
Treatments
- D&C Working / Worked
- I chose to have a d&c because i was apparently the victim of a "missed miscarriage". i wanted to get my body back to normal as quick as possible, and waiting around for my unresponsive body to help me out was out of the question.
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
had a missed m/c; followed by a d&c in january. had a feeling i was pregnant, took at test today (3-7-09) at 10dpo, and it was a BFP! hoping and praying this is it!!
