Single parent of 21 year old son. Currently single after recently ending a 4 yr relationship with an abusive man.
Close Breast Cancer
After an appendectomy gone bad and nearly killing me from internal hemorrhaging in November, I was diagnosed with breast cancer the following March. I was 37. I have a son who was in high school at the time and now is studying to be a nurse.

- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- I had 6 cycles
- Cisplatin Working / Worked
- 6 cycles
- Mastectomy Working / Worked
- Started with a lumpectomy and then had to have a full mastectomy because the margins were not clear.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- My ordeal started with an appendectomy that went awry due to internal bleeding that surgeons could not find. The scars are hard to deal with.
