i hope you have someone taking care of you. it might take a long time to get the pain gone from the disc. i was in hospital once 28 days with it. if you can get a steriod shot for it, you could be pain free in a couple days. sometimes it takes a second shot ;but they are like a miracle drug. please check into it. please let me know what happens. over the years i have had 40 or more shots for discs. get back to me on this. they must be done in an OR by an anesthesologist in a sterile room. they really do not hurt or at least for more than 30 seconds. many times i walked out of the room after one shot. twinks twinks
