Close Sciatica

i have had severe sciatica about 5 times in the last7 or so years. it tends to niggle much of the time but this time i can barely walk. I suffer from the burning toothache type pain and also a sharp shooting pain in my back if i move a certain way. I feel as if my legs cant hold up my body...so painful. The pain is right across my back, down both buttocks and into hips, groin and lower stomach. No leg pain this time. Had MRI which showed herniated disc.

Treatments

Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful

the only thing that has ever really helped with the pain was Diazepam which I was given during previous episode. Nothing else really touches the pain...so intense.
