I went to see the Dr at the pain clinic today again for only the second time. I finially got an appointment just before christmas and it took ....yes ....4 years to get in. There was a 2 year wait but something must have got mixed up or the Dr.didnt put in the request. My first visit consisted of an intern relaying back and forth out of the room with the real Dr. which I never got to see. That made me a little mad....seing as I waited so long to see her you think she could have graced me with her presence.

I thought id let it go seeing as she might have been really busy!!!!!!

Well today I drove over an hour and 15 min to get in and wait in the room for about another 45min...in which i had a little nap. I guess I was tired of waiting(pun intended)

I was greeted by another intern in which was very nice but just learning.

I just need to discuss my problem to try to find an answer or definate diagnosis.

At my last visit I informed them I had full head exrays and MRIs done in the past.

NO they did not get them from the family Dr. like they stated in the last visit.

I had recently went to my surgeons office and requested a copy of my surgury file in which was incomplete and missinfg the information in the hospital report about my nerve being attatched and he had to dig it out to finish the surgery. I brought this file with me thinking the Dr. Might want part of it as my history.

Never got a chance to give it to her.

After many hours of righting my symptoms and complications and doing research on what possible treatments there might be she just gave me a new perscription for the same meds just a higher dose...discussed and looking at her not me explained to the trainee about these meds. . I just wanted to YELL out can you maybe explain it to ME!!!! IM RIGHT here!!!!!

Just getting into my questions The first I asked was about tens treatment. She said just a second Ill get you a name and a place to go. She went out the door...seconds later peeked in just enough to hand me the paper and my appointment was over.

WOW.....WOW   thats all i could think. A whole 5-7 min. of talking time....and it wasnt even at me. I then stated to the girl I would ask her some questions since the Dr. just up and left. Because shes learing  no real answers. just another peice of paper to see me in another 2 months.

Maybe I watch House to often and could only hope there would be a doctor who really wants to figure out whats wrong and not just cover it up with medication!!!!!
