I got my first DailyStrength community update today and found that I am 14 years old. Hmmm ... I know I act 14 sometimes, but really I'm 61.
Hi Kate, I have type 2 diabetes as well. I have to test my blood sugars 4-6 times a day and I take four diffrent insulin's. And, now, it is fairly well controlled. After chemo I was very tired, very depressed. But I jumped back into life (once I was rested) and things are going well now. It takes each of us different amounts of time to learn how to cope with OVCA. I am very, very sorry that you lost your kitty. My cats are always my best friends too. You've been through a lot but we are here for you-- Rhoda & Scottie

Diagnosed in February 2007, had hysterectomy, lymphectomy, omentectomy (is that a word? (:>) ), then 6 chemo sessions. Am dealing with ongoing fatigue, depression, dizziness, lack of stamina. Lost my house and most possessions, had to give my cat to a very nice lady (but I miss him dearly), have been renting rooms in houses, which is hard to deal with. I need to give and receive encouragement.
