Am a 28 year old with Lupus, I also have 18 month old baby boy named Isaiah with hydrocephalus he was a 29 weeker born August 20, 2007, a day after he was born we found out he had had a IVH grade 1 on his left side and grade 3 on his right.We found out he had develop hydrocephalus a week after he was born. He had his VP shunt put in on Sept 17 2007. To date he has not had any trouble or revisions with his shunt Thank God. He is acting his age been a lil brat. I am here to get to know other families and make friends that understand what we have been through and learn about there experiences.

Close Lupus
I was diagnosed with Lupus about 4 years ago i was upset didn't know what to expect i didn't have an idea what Lupus really was, but i got it together and started informing myself educating myself about my disease. At the moment the only thing i take is my prednisone 10 mgs. I do have lots of body aches I think if i don't have an ache am wondering where the pain has gone. But thank God I have been able to deal and understand my disease the best i can.
Treatments
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- This med i only took for a couple of months
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- This med i only took for a couple of months
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- This I take once a day. 10mg
Close Hydrocephalus
My 21 month old baby boy Isaiah was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus about a week after he was born due to an IVH when he was born. He was born at 29 weeks he was 2 lb 8 oz and 15 inches long. He has never had a revision or any problems with his shunt. We have had some scares but thank God no other surgeries. He is an active lil boy, and is acting up to his age no delays in his development or physical development.
Treatments
- Shunts Working / Worked
- My son had his shunt surgery in 9/17/07 and to date no revisions on his shunt.
Open Anxiety
For the last couple of months I really get this feeling of my heart beating so fast that if feels that its coming out of my chest. I hate the way it makes me feel. I like someone to be with me 24-7 I don't like to be alone i don't know if anyone can relate but I hate the way this anxiety makes me feel.

- Xanax Working / Worked
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
Open Gallstones
i found out I had gallbladder stones about 7 years ago haven't had any problems with them since then.
Open Premature Birth
My son Isaiah was born at 29 weeks during my pregnancy I didn't have any complications or any problems. He was born August 20, 2007 my due date was November 2, 2007. Why he came early I have no idea but am very bless to have him he is my reason for living.
Open Pulmonary Hypertension
I have just found out I have pulmonary Hypertension freaken out a bit cause I don't know what to expect out of this.
