I had a fixed drug eruption to antihistamines,it would come as a painful burning rash on my knee with a very high fever. the fever would leave after 2 days but the rash would stay for about 3 weeks then disappear with no scar or anything. It happened about 7 times the doctors had no clue and thought it was Lyme disease, staph infection and even a tumor and I went though crazy tests and was on tons of antibiotics. Finally I was diagnosed & since avoiding antihistamines I have not had the rash
