I have had TMJ my whole life. It has gotten progressively worse. (It is now "bone on bone.") I have almost unbearable pain and have lost some teeth.

Close Chronic Pain
I have suffered with chronic pain for many years and haven't found anything that really works. I'm a retired physician so I'm familiar with what is out there. Tomorrow I am going to see a new pain doc. I am having surgery on March 24th to remove my second pain pump that hasn't worked. I'm just frustrated, anxious and angry. Sara

- Flexeril Not Working
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- I use it because my mother did. It's in my mind.
- Hydrocodone Not Working
- Lyrica Considering
- Meditation Somewhat Helpful
- Methadone Not Working
- did not work and took a year to get off of it.
- Morphine Not Working
- allergic to it
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- aleric reactions
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- not for pain but for radiculopothy
- Oxycodone Somewhat Helpful
- but don't like to be in a stupor.
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- TENS Not Working
- Topamax Not Working
- taking it for depression along with antidepressant but we are titrating it down because it isn't really helping.
