My name is Emily, I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome when I was nine years old. I sing Opera, and love music. My favorite genre is Metal, but am open to everything else. Hence my screenname, I am the hugest Disturbed fan you will ever meet. I am a diehard fan, and saw them this past Summer at the Mayhem Festival. They were AMAZING! I hope to see them once again. Close Asperger Syndrome
Hey I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome when I was 9 years old. I always knew I was different, and need others to talk to me who know what I'm going through.
Close Depression - Teen
I'm someone who lives a life depressed and need people to talk to about it. I also have Asperger Syndrome.
Treatments
- Art Working / Worked
- My outlet is defintelely art. I use it to express myself.
- Music Working / Worked
- Music is my ultimate weapon against depression.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Positive thinking attracts positive energy.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I can say whatever I need to in my writing, so nothing is supressed.
- Zoloft Not Working
- Zoloft turned me into an apathetic zombie.

- Art is an awesome outlet for anger and resentment.
- Forgiveness Working / Worked
- I learned that forgiving helps me move on without pretending nothing happened. It makes me the higher person.

- This helped me know that I am not alone.

- Music cures all for me.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- This did somewhat help, but then I realized that it was me who could help myself.

Open Bisexuality
I was bi all my life and finally started accepting it in my Sophomore year in high school.
Open Autism / Autism Spectrum
I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome when I was 9 years old.
Open Female Sexual Issues
I wouldn't call what I have a sexual pain disorder, but I become suicidal and extremely depressed when I try to be physically intimate with someone in any way due to past traumatic relationships.
Treatments
- Relaxation Somewhat Helpful
- I try to not stress so much, or think of my past. I hope it helps cure me.
