      Fell in love with a girl about 4 months ago but it's causing my high-anxiety, panic attacks and depression. -2.5 years I was in a relationship with someone for 5.5 years who I later learned had borderline personality disorder -been in therapy 2 years, was diagnosed as being traumatized or PTSD (had memory loss, lack of interest in women..) -met the girl of my dreams. -now I get triggered panic or high anxiety that leads to depression with feelings of having to escape and being trapped

      Treatments

      Couples Counseling Somewhat Helpful
      Is just me going right now, she has offered to attend at this point. I am working with someone who specializes in relationship. Been working with her 6+ months now, worked with a general therapist 1 year before.
      Patience Not Working
      I'm not good at this. I'm patient with everything else in life, but when I come accross a problem I obsess over it until it's resolved. I am working on meditating twice a day
      Talking Somewhat Helpful
      I talk to my girlfriend, mom and both my sisters about all this.
      Writing Somewhat Helpful
      I keep a feelings journal I keep a gratitude journal I do cognitive therapy work-sheets these things work if the emotions/anxiety attacks aren't to exteme
