I am a lecturer and mother of two, I am a devoted christian and have a passion for Jesus and His word. I believe that every thing happens for a reason and through our adversities we are strengthened. Our strength comes in ways we may not know, God is working in and through us and it is sometimes painful but I give Him all the Glory for it in advance. I pray for each one of us that suffers with colitis or crohn's and ask for it to be healed.

I know that this is a long awaited reply. I am very sorry for that. I did take Imuran for a couple weeks but it make me terribly sick. I was a bit nauseous after the first couple doses and then my doctor increased the dose and I threw-up for 3 days. He took me off of the drug after Easter last year and switched me to CellCept. I have been on the CellCept for about a year. I have been tolerating it very well but it is not working the way it should so I am going for my first round of Remicade next week. Good luck with the Imuran if you are on it or getting ready to take it. I really hope it works for you. Please don't be scared away by my reactions to it.
Hope things are going well for you! God bless, kaye
Thank you so much and yes I believe in God. I'm glad to hear your UC is stable.
I absolutely love the song, "I Can Only Imagine" I use to work as a Family Service Director for a large Funeral Home here, and many families would request to have that song played at the services, as our own family has as well when my precious Aunt passed away 6 years ago. I believe that song says it all! I do think that once we are in the presence of our Blessed Lord, we will be in such Awe, that we very likely will not be able to speak or stand, just at the sight of His amazing beauty! Aren't we blessed to know such a Wonderful Savior? Have a glorious week ahead my precious friend! Love ya much, Jami
I was diognosed with Ulcerative Colitis about eight years ago, the symptoms were very mild and I did not have a full flare up until my mother in law died four years ago. I ended up in hospital on steroid injections for one week and was out of work in all for six months. Pain in my legs, feet aqnd joints more on my right side have been some of the worst symptoms. I recovered in full for one and a half years, I am now in the seventh week of my second mayjor flare up and not feeling very well.
I have had ulcerated colitis for 5 years and the last flare up for 6 months now, I have been of work for this time and tried to be possitive, I believe in Jesus and know He will heal me in His time.
