      : MLD

      My son Jared was dx with MLD in March 07. He had a cord blood transplant at Duke University to slow or stop the progression of the disease. He is now in a wheelchair, has g-tube and can't talk. He is very happy and interactive.

      Treatments

      Bone Marrow Transplant Working / Worked
      Transplant was a hard experience but it saved my sons life so I am thankful he could have it done.
